Schulz is a company in fast and constant evolution. From a small foundry in 1963 – when it began its activities – to exponent of the national air compressor and car part industry, Schulz has continuously grown. Whit the headquarters in the city of Joinville, Santa Catarina State, Schulz S.A. is composed of two business units: the Automotive Division, world supplier of cast, machined products and assembly of automotive subsystems, and the Compressor Division, world supplier of solutions for air compressed and equipment for home and industrial applications.

Since 1972, Schulz has been developing solutions in compressed air with quality, innovation and reliability for its customers. Today, it has a complete line of reciprocating and rotary screw compressors, air dryers by refrigeration, line and coalescent filters, condensate separators, pneumatic tools and accessories for compressed air, which makes it market leader as the largest manufacturer of air compressors in Latin America, exporting to over 72 countries in all the continents.

Our company just purchased a Schulz rotary compressor to replace an old unit in our processing plant and we are absolutely satisfied with the equipment. It provides all the pressure and CFM need to run the whole processing plant, it’z quit compared to other brands and is really reliable. We have had this compressor for over a year and we couldn’t be happier with our investment. We definitely recommend it to anyone.

I own a paint and body work shop and my last compressor broke down a few months back, while shopping for a new compressor I came across the Schulz line and reading all the specs and after contacting a few people I decided to buy one. What a happy surprise! The compressor is very well built, heavy duty parts, extremely robust and very, very quiet compared to other brands I’ve seen. Total capable to run my entire shop with no problem. Very happy with my decision.

Our dental clinic just purchased a Schulz compressor and we are absolutely pleased witch it. Incredibly quiet compared with our old model and plenty capable to run every tool in our clinic. We have another old unit from a different brand and we are considering buying another Schulz compressor identical to the one we just bought because we are very satisfied with it. High quality and efficient piece of equipment.

We have a 200 gallon air tank that we use in the manufacturing of aired homemade cheese. The tank is filled by using a compressor air pump. The pump just just broke down a months ago and it is our 4 pump in 5 years. The constant use of the pumps makes it difficult to keep them working longer. We installed a Schulz pump and it’s been about 8 months now and it seems to running in tip top shape, strong and show no signs of wearing down. Very happy!

How do I know which air compressor to buy?

  • First, you need to determine what types of tasks or jobs you will perform. A number of jobs such as inflating, spray painting, applying spray foam insulation, and sanding require various sizes of air compressors and tank sizes.
  • Second, determine which types of pneumatic tools you will us. Different tools require different air pressure and volume (CFM) to operate properly. Choose an air compressor with higher air volume output (CFM) than the tools that will be used.
  • Third, determine if the tool load will be used for light or intermittent duty or for continuous, heavy duty. The heavier the usage, the larger the air compressor and air tank size (in gallons) needs to be.
  • Finally, determine the electrical power you have available.
  • We advise our customers not to under buy, in order to save money, because it’s always better to have a little more air than needed.

How much oil should be in my pump?

Our units have a sight glass and the oil should be in the middle of the sight glass.

Is there a “break in” run time for the oil in the pump post installation?

yes, the factory oil its good only for 8 hours, then should be changed after 40 hours then every 200 hours..

How often should I drain my tank?

Will my air compressor be set at the maximum operating pressure?

Production units are not always set at the maximum operating pressure from the factory. However, most units can be field adjusted to the desired pressure. NEVER adjust the pressure above the Rated or Maximum Operating Pressure.

Can I purchase an extended warranty?

At this time, extended warranties are not available. Be sure to watch for them in the future, though!

Should i use aftermarket parts for my air compressor ?

No, if you use aftermarket parts your warranty will be voided, and not showing proof of not using original parts your warranty will be voided. Always use original parts.

How often should i change the oil on my piston air compressor ?

On piston air compressor you should change every 200 hours.

What is a rotary air compressor?

A rotary-screw compressor is a type of gas compressor that uses a rotary-type positive-displacement mechanism. They are commonly used to replace piston compressors where large volumes of high-pressure air are needed, either for large industrial applications or to operate high-power airtools such as jackhammers.
